Dr. George D. Xipoleas, a board certified plastic surgeon, joined Long Island Plastic Surgical Group in 2013. Dr. Xipoleas obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Sciences from SUNY Stony Brook, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He then went on to earn his Medical Degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed his Plastic Surgery Residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital. He recently pursued a fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.

Dr. Xipoleas is well versed in a wide range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. He performs the latest techniques in cosmetic enhancement, such as breast augmentation, abdominoplasty, face lifts, as well as minimally invasive treatments that include injectables and fat transfer for facial aesthetics. Dr. Xipoleas has a special interest in reconstructive surgery, such as breast reconstruction and post bariatric surgeries. He is specialized in microvascular techniques for breast reconstruction, which include DIEP, SIEA, TUG, and free TRAM flaps, as well as lymph node transfer for lymphedema.

Dr. Xipoleas has a genuine appreciation of the outdoors and enjoys traveling in his spare time.
